 New folder.exe (NEW FOLDER.EXE) virus is one of the most dangerous viruses that hides files on USB drives and disables things like task manager, regedit and folder options. The virus creates .exe files that mimic your existing files, this virus takes up 50% of your storage space, and among other nasty side effects, it makes your computer experience a severe loss in speed and performance.

When you plug the pen drive into your computer, a folder called NEW FOLDER.EXE virus will be created, this is how we can see that the virus is present in our computer.
Wherever we go we have a pen drive with us. We will immediately search for the things we need on the Internet and save them on Pen drive. But let's see if there is any hope that our pen drive will be safe there.

If you have such a virus problem here and there and everywhere

STEP : Step 1. NEWFOLDER.exe virus has disabled your TASK MANAGER, that's why you have to TYPE the mentioned commands in CMD.

First you need to open COMMAND PROMPT on your computer. Click Start or Start (WINDOWS+R) KEY and search for CMD to open Command Prompt. You can do this either way, i.e. simultaneously press the Windows logo button and then "R" to open the Run command window.

OPEN THE COMMAND PROMPT. Go to "START" and search for "CMD" without the quotes. Click on "RUN". This will result in a black window.

Enter the following commands one by one. These will delete the preliminary stages of the virus.

* taskkill /f /t /im “New Folder.exe”

* taskkill /f /t /im “SCVVHSOT.exe”

* taskkill /f /t /im “SCVHSOT.exe”

* taskkill /f /t /im “scvhosts.exe”

* taskkill /f /t /im “hinhem.scr”

* taskkill /f /t /im “blastclnnn.exe”

Typing the above mentioned commands in the command prompt killed the task. Now you need to run task manager and regedit disabled by new folder virus.

STEP:2 Step 2. Run task manager and regedit
Press the Windows logo button together, then "R" to open the Run command window.

Type the commands one by one and enter after each one.

• reg add HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Policies\System /v Disable Task Mgr /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

• reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Policies\System /v DisableTaskMgr /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

• reg add HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Policies\System /v Disable Registry Tools /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

• reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Policies\System /v Disable Registry Tools /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

STEP:3 Step 3. Run hidden files and delete virus source files
Open Folder Options and go to Control Panel by clicking the Start button image,

Find Appearance and Personalization and click Folder Options.

Go to the following directories ie C:Windows, C:Windowssystem32 and C:Documents and Settings All Users Documents and delete the files mentioned below.

C:\WINDOWS\SCVVHSOT.exe

C:\WINDOWS\SCVHSOT.exe

C:\WINDOWS\hinhem.scr

C:\WINDOWS\system32\SCVHSOT.exe

C:\WINDOWS\system32\blastclnnn.exe

C:\WINDOWS\system32\autorun.ini

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\SCVHSOT.exe

That’s it. You had successfully deleted virus from your computer/PC.
